Murali Chakravarthy heads Agrocorp International’s Myanmar operations.
He has about 30 years of experience in International Trade. A frequent panelist at various pulses conventions, he’s well respected within International Trade circles for the depth of his experience and knowledge of the Myanmar market.
He is one of the founding members and Vice president of Myanmar India Business Chamber (M.I.B.C.)
He is also one of the founding members and Ex Vice President of OATA.

Murad Al-Katib

Murad Al-Katib, President, CEO and Board member of AGT Food & Ingredients Inc. An international agri-food, strategic business and financial thinker, Murad founded AGT Foods in 2001, building a Canadian start-up into a global billion-dollar value-added pulses, staple foods and ingredient company. Murad also serves as Chairman of the Arctic Gateway Group, a historic partnership with Northern Manitoba Indigenous communities to operate the Hudson Bay Railway and the Port of Churchill.

Hitesh Jain

Hitesh Jain is the Country Head for AGT Foods, AGT Food and Ingredients, it is one of the largest suppliers of value-added pulses, staple foods and food ingredients in the world. They buy lentils, peas, beans and chickpeas from farmers around our 40+ facilities located in the best pulse growing regions in Canada, the United States, Turkey, Australia, China and South Africa, and ship their products to over 120 countries around the globe.
His overall experience in trading has been about 20 years, starting his career as an entrepreneur in Mumbai at a young age of about 18years, then moving to a professional career with an international exposure of about 10 years he has developed expertise on Agro Products, Rice, Sugar and Timber.
His hobbies include playing cricket, singing, and organize events.

Christopher Coe

Christopher Coe has been working in agriculture reinsurance since 1996. He started in South Africa where he handled the reinsurance for the largest crop insurer in the country. This was a predominantly a Hail insurance scheme and had zero government subsidy. On moving back to London in 2003, he built up a portfolio of crop reinsurance from India, China and South Korea. He moved to Singapore in 2012 to join Aon, and in addition to the above territories, he has been involved in crop business in Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Philippines, Pakistan and Myanmar. He has gained great and knowledge about crop insurance, both on the indemnity side and also in parametric insurance schemes and livestock insurance. This knowledge has been garnered from several years of relationships with various insurers, government entities and administrators throughout Asia.
He is a graduate of the University of Birmingham, in the UK, and works for Aon Reinsurance Brokers in Singapore.

Dr. Myo Lwin

Dr. Myo Lwin is the Central Executive Committee Member of Myanmar Pulses Beans and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association (MPBSMA). He is also the Vice Chairman of Yangon Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Moreover, he is currently serving as the Managing Director of Arkar Oo Co., Ltd.

Shyam Narsaria

Mr Shyam Narsaria, CA, CS and Software Engineer by qualification is the CEO of Arvee International Pte Ltd. He has 18 years of experience in doing import and export of agricultural products such as Pulses, Rice, Sugar, sesame ,Spices and Maize. Having rich customers resources and very High business reputation.
Mr.Narsaria is based in Yangon, Myanmar and actively involved in Sales/Purchase and Market Research of Pulses. Before Joining Arvee International Pte Ltd. Mr.Narsaria worked with Ernst & Young Kolkata. Shyam is An eminent Speaker at various Beans and Pulses platform including IPGA & GPC.

Girish Bafna

Girish Bafna is a Director at Bafna Brothers, Chennai. He started his career in Bafna Brothers in 1984 after completing his graduation. He has been instrumental in expanding the footprint of Bafna Brothers in the international market and he continues to take interest in this area.
Bafna brothers ia a brokering company dealing in Pulses and Beans since 1956. Other directors include Naresh Kumar Bafna, Kunal Bafna and Kaveen Bafna. Bafna Brothers also has interest in working capital financing.

Mr. Peter TL Koh has over 30 years of extensive trade knowledge, and experience in International Trade Financing, Structured Trade and Commodity Finance, Bank Guarantees, and Standby L/C. He has worked with major local and foreign banks such as BTMU (formerly known as BOT), BNP, Daiwa Bank, Bank Mandiri, Nordea Bank, Citibank NA, RZB-Austria and OCBC Bank Ltd., Singapore.
His portfolio includes multinational corporations in Singapore, with an active involvement in international trade. Locally, he has worked with OCBC as Senior Trade Advisor (Vice President), and was previously the Head of Trade Operations in Daiwa Bank, Bank Mandiri, Nordea Bank & RZB-Austria (now known as Raiffeisen Bank International AG).

I started off my career as an Accountant. Due to my passion for Networking and interest in commodities, I gradually became Trade Head.
I also have a deep interest for social work and do volunteer work on a regular basis. I also keep active by playing badminton regularly.

Mukesh Verma

Mr. Mukesh Verma @Min Min Oo is country head for Crescent Developments Pte, Company is one of the trading Co’s based out of Singapore.
His overall experiences in trading has been about 12 years, starting his career as Export manager at a young age of 27 years, then moving to a professional career with an international exposure of about 10 years he has developed expertise on agro products.

U Minn Minn is the Director General of Department of Trade of Ministry of Commerce. He has completed Master of Business Administration in The University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. He is also serving as a Director in Myanmar Citizens Bank Limited.

Dr. Ye Tint Tun

Dr. Ye Tint Tun is the Director General of Department of Agriculture of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. He has been serving the current position since 2016. Prior to this, he was the Director General of Department of Agricultural Research and he has been with the Ministry since 1994. He is a graduate of Yezin Agricultural University. In 2006, he has received Ph.D. from Tokyo University of Agriculture.

U Soe Win Maung

U Soe Win Maung is the Consultant of Myanmar Pulses Beans and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association (MPBSMA). He retired as a director of planning from Department of Agricultural Planning. Moreover, he participated in National Export Strategy (NES) for the period 2015-2019.

Lindsay C. Stringer

My research focuses on the links between people and the environment, particularly how and why the land and soil are changing, and how that affects people's livelihoods. Most of my work has been with smallholder farmers in countries across Africa, with some work also in Asia in Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. I hold a BSc in Physical Geography, an MSc in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment in Drylands, and a PhD in Geography, all from the University of Sheffield, UK. I have published more than 170 scientific papers. In 2017, I won a Wolfson Merit Award from the Royal Society, and in 2013, was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize for my work on environmental change and sustainable development in drylands. I also play a lead role in many international assessments.

He is also the Managing Director of Diamond Century Co., Ltd., Han Yandanar Tin Co., Ltd., and Ngwe Kyei Oo Co., Ltd. Moreover, he is currently serving as a Director of Myanma Agricultural and General Development Public Co., Ltd.

Mr Murari Goenka is Business Head of Regis International Co ltd.
Over the last 10 years He has spent time in setting up commodity supply chain businesses, building a network of reliable partners, launching new products in various geographies and negotiating big ticket deals with large private players In India , Thailand, Myanmar, Brazil, Argentina and Singapore.
His core skills include business strategy development & execution, P&L management, global commodity book running, grain & forex trading, , agri value chains, chartering, institutional and governmental liaison, risk and supply chain management.

Vatsal Lilani

Vatsal Lilani joined Andre & Cie’s Myanmar operations as Country Head in 1996 and since then has been a prominent face in the agro circles in the country. Andre & Cie is a Swiss commodity group which had operations in over 100 countries globally and was one of the first international companies to have started operations in Myanmar after the country opened up. After a 15 year stint, he started his own business under the name of Evertop Commodities Pte Ltd.
Vatsal has worked in several locations internationally such as Bangkok, Toronto, Dubai & Singapore and has extensive experience in the Grain trade. He holds a Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University & a Masters in Marketing. He’s a prolific swimmer having captained his University and State teams and has a record of swimming a 26 mile stretch non stop in the Arabian Sea off Mumbai.

Awais Ahmed

Awais Ahmed is the founder and CEO at Pixxel, an Indian space-technology startup that builds and operates a constellation of small-satellites to collect, monitor and analyze data through satellite imagery. Awais founded Pixxel in 2019 during his final year of university at BITS Pilani, where he pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics, with the vision of establishing a global space company working on bringing the benefits of space down to earth. Pixxel's first satellite is manufactured and booked to launch in February 2021 and will be the first private commercial satellite launched from India. Awais was also one of the founding members and engineering lead at Hyperloop India, the only Indian and one of the 24 global finalist teams in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition where they built India's first ever hyperloop pod and presented it to Elon Musk.
