Hitesh Jain is the Country Head for AGT Foods, AGT Food and Ingredients, it is one of the largest suppliers of value-added pulses, staple foods and food ingredients in the world. They buy lentils, peas, beans and chickpeas from farmers around our 40+ facilities located in the best pulse growing regions in Canada, the United States, Turkey, Australia, China and South Africa, and ship their products to over 120 countries around the globe.
His overall experience in trading has been about 20 years, starting his career as an entrepreneur in Mumbai at a young age of about 18years, then moving to a professional career with an international exposure of about 10 years he has developed expertise on Agro Products, Rice, Sugar and Timber.

Christopher Coe has been working in agriculture reinsurance since 1996. He started in South Africa where he handled the reinsurance for the largest crop insurer in the country. This was a predominantly a Hail insurance scheme and had zero government subsidy. On moving back to London in 2003, he built up a portfolio of crop reinsurance from India, China and South Korea. He moved to Singapore in 2012 to join Aon, and in addition to the above territories, he has been involved in crop business in Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, Australia, Philippines, Pakistan and Myanmar. He has gained great and knowledge about crop insurance, both on the indemnity side and also in parametric insurance schemes and livestock insurance. This knowledge has been garnered from several years of relationships with various insurers, government entities and administrators throughout Asia.
He is a graduate of the University of Birmingham, in the UK, and works for Aon Reinsurance Brokers in Singapore.
Dr. Myo Lwin is the Central Executive Committee Member of Myanmar Pulses Beans and Sesame Seeds Merchants Association (MPBSMA). He is also the Vice Chairman of Yangon Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Moreover, he is currently serving as the Managing Director of Arkar Oo Co., Ltd.
Mr Shyam Narsaria, CA, CS and Software Engineer by qualification is the CEO of Arvee International Pte Ltd. He has 18 years of experience in doing import and export of agricultural products such as Pulses, Rice, Sugar, sesame ,Spices and Maize. Girish Bafna is a Director at Bafna Brothers, Chennai. He started his career in Bafna Brothers in 1984 after completing his graduation. He has been instrumental in expanding the footprint of Bafna Brothers in the international market and he continues to take interest in this area.
Bafna brothers ia a brokering company dealing in Pulses and Beans since 1956. Other directors include Naresh Kumar Bafna, Kunal Bafna and Kaveen Bafna. Bafna Brothers also has interest in working capital financing.

I started off my career as an Accountant. Due to my passion for Networking and interest in commodities, I gradually became Trade Head.

Dr. Ye Tint Tun is the Director General of Department of Agriculture of Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation. He has been serving the current position since 2016. Prior to this, he was the Director General of Department of Agricultural Research and he has been with the Ministry since 1994. He is a graduate of Yezin Agricultural University. In 2006, he has received Ph.D. from Tokyo University of Agriculture.

My research focuses on the links between people and the environment, particularly how and why the land and soil are changing, and how that affects people's livelihoods. Most of my work has been with smallholder farmers in countries across Africa, with some work also in Asia in Vietnam, Indonesia and Malaysia. I hold a BSc in Physical Geography, an MSc in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment in Drylands, and a PhD in Geography, all from the University of Sheffield, UK. I have published more than 170 scientific papers. In 2017, I won a Wolfson Merit Award from the Royal Society, and in 2013, was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize for my work on environmental change and sustainable development in drylands. I also play a lead role in many international assessments.

Vatsal Lilani joined Andre & Cie’s Myanmar operations as Country Head in 1996 and since then has been a prominent face in the agro circles in the country. Andre & Cie is a Swiss commodity group which had operations in over 100 countries globally and was one of the first international companies to have started operations in Myanmar after the country opened up. After a 15 year stint, he started his own business under the name of Evertop Commodities Pte Ltd.
Vatsal has worked in several locations internationally such as Bangkok, Toronto, Dubai & Singapore and has extensive experience in the Grain trade.
